This matrix switch was one of the more expensive units on the market. That was mainly the reason I chose it. That and the Gefen name. When everything was hooked up I noticed several issues:1. Slow switching. When a new source is selected and output to a zone, it takes about 10-15 seconds for the picture to stabilize. During that time, a green screen flashes multiple times. If the next source has the same resolution, the switching happens fast; otherwise, it would take another 10-15 seconds for the image to stabilize.2. Unable to use Logitech Harmony Remote. The Harmony 900 remote actually had this Gefen switch in the library, but none of the pre-programmed commands would work. I then manually learned all the commands - still no go. This Gefen switch would not react to anything sent my the universal remote.Bottom line, the switch does the job. It transmits the 3D picture just fine. All four outputs work great. So if you don't mind the slow switching and inability to use one of the best universal remotes, this unit is otherwise great! For me, the remote issue was a deal breaker.

I accidentedly added this Monster HDMI cable to my cart when I was buying some stuff for my PS3. When I open the box I realised that I must have accidentedly ordered it. I was going to send it back but instead knowing the repudation of Monster products;;; I wanted to use it for something else. I curantly have a bachlors degree in electrical engineering technology from Devry, I know a thing or two about wires and can recognise the benefits of using high quality 'long grain' copper for sound.so I cut both the conector ends off the HDMI cable, stripped the wires (19 i believe) twisted 2 sets of wires together (9 wires each), clipped the extra wire off, and soldiered on the ends a couple of 1/4" TS Mono conectors I bought from ebay.I'm telling you, I've been playing guitar semi-professionally for over 15 years and this is definitly the best guitar chord I've ever, EVER played with. It's extremley rugged , precision sounding hdmi/guitar chord I've ever, EVER heard. I tried to call Monster Customer Service up and recommend that they start manufacturing and selling guitar cables using the same materials I did. If they don't I might!!!Plus it's 75 long (minus the foot I cut off and messed up a couple times), so I can literally be on the front porch of my trailer and play with the amp in the back bedroom. I am playing a Dean Custom Zone guitar with a Jet City 1X12 combo and it sounds incredible, the other guitarist in my band (Cat Scratched) uses a regular fender chord with his epiphone…

I occasionally like to beat my workstaff with my HDMI cables just to help them understand their role. I find the woven mylar sides do not have that nice slapping effect as the cheaper cables. I bought 2 more just in case this was a product defect. Would not buy a fourth.

Plug your dead ancestors using this cable and watch them come alive. And all of that in stunning 3D.The coffee part I still don't get. Tried with sugar and NutraSweet, still doesn't taste right.

In a moment of extreme weakness caused by excess Turkey consumption (Wild Turkey) on Thanksgiving, I purchased the cable in the false hope that it would block offensive programing, or failing that, just improve the appearance of the various women on "The View" that I could not delete from my former DVR (note others in my household erase my collection of Married with Children, in favor of other offensive programing)..but I digress...Upon return of the cable, all went back to normal, but suddenly a homeless HD Tuner Box showed up on my porch crying and pleading to be let in, claiming she was abused by a prior owner. Her first question was, whether there was an AudioQuest Carbon 12.0M PVC jacketed cable in the house. I assured her that I had problems with the aforementioned cable and had sent it packing as it had promised the world and never delivered.The HD tuner box, said her prior owner, Bob or somebody named similarly, had jilted the box for an affair with an AudioQuest cable, and that the box had left due to the obvious infidelity and irreconcilable differences. Taking the cable back was the best decision I ever made, the tuner may be 2007 and has some miles on her, but she is the best tuner I have ever had. She refuses to DVR The View and all soap operas, and is totally attentive to my viewing preferences. Tell Bob or somebody like him, we are happy and she(the HD tuner) is never coming back.

This cable better transport me to the next realm for $1500! Save your money, buy a $5 cable and it will perform just as well.

Frankly, I'm a little angry at the sarcastic reviews posted for this HDMI cable. Many people come to Amazon in order to see HONEST opinions about the products they are looking to purchase. It is clear that some of the reviewers have not purchased this item, or are making up stories. I really don't believe that somebody quit their job just to be a delivery person in order to make sure the cable was delivered properly.Also, several people seem to be making fun of the length of the cable. Yes, 12 meters may seem like an odd length to Americans, but to many people in the world, that may be a very useful length. It just depends upon your culture.As an audio and videophile myself, I researched many different HDMI cables of various lengths and sought recommendation from industry professionals, some involved with hooking up sound systems for touring musicians. Almost everyone recommended this cable.After purchasing the cable, I connected it to my ~$100,000 system. This cable literally digitized me into a bit pattern and transported me into a computer world. Armed only with this cable, I had to fight my way to the Master Control Program to gain my freedom. Without this cable, I would have surely died, or still be a slave for the MCP. You can hate. But this cable saved my life.

Generally I don't review however in this situation I must. I just had a satellite company install service. I did my homework and found this gadget. I have an outside patio which is our favorite place to hang out. We have brick walls and I hooked this thing up to mirror our bedroom and it gave me 1080P and perfect sound plus the way I mounted it the receiver won't get wet or anything else. It's a no brainer. The only thing that you need is an amplified HDMI splitter. So for the price of this unit plus the $25 I spent on an amplified HDMI splitter I am watching NFL Sunday Ticket on a patio. It has an IR so we were on on on patio watching 1080P changing channels with perfect sound Even the installer was said that rocks. It says 100 feet and I am only about 40 feet away but the bottom line I plugged in the cables and it worked without any setup whatsoever. Plus the monthly charge they wanted for a receiver that would have gotten blown up in the rain I am not paying. Obviously it won't pay for itself right away but give it a while and you are saving money. I hope it works for you like it did me.

I was going to buy a $2.82 hdmi cable on amazon and then I came across this masterpiece, and I knew I had to do whatever it takes to get it. After getting a 3 month advance on my salary thanks to the fine folks at the check cashing place who only charged me a 35% interest rate, I was in business to finally own one of these beauties. Because of the price amazon decided to send the hdmi cable by armored car. Originally I was going to use the money to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend, but I came upon this cable and decided this could keep me warm at night all by itself. So I dumped the girlfriend, and now when not in use, this cable tucks itself in next to me all snug and warm. It even reads bed time stories to me from time to time which help with my night terrors.As to when this cable is plugged in, oh wow, the picture literally jumps off the screen and into my living room. It even makes commercials come alive, there was one for the angus burger at mcd's and I was hungry and all i had to do was reach out towards the screen and grab it and bam dinner was served. You have to be careful with that feature though because you will gain weight spending too much time on the couch. The best part is I dont even own a tv, I plugged this thing into 2 pieces of cardboard and some chewing gum, and bam I had 500 channels. I dont know how that happened, but one of the armored car drivers did resemble Macgyver. Hurry out and get one before they get bought up!!

We used these cables to run in-wall HD A/V to our over the fireplace TV. THey were durable during the installation process and are working great now that they're sealed in.

I use this cable through two switchboxes to dub my old beta tapes to vhs so I can enjoy them on more modern equipment, and they work great. I just wish they were more expensive.

I originally had my qualms about spending extra money on a high-end HDMI cable, but those worries soon vanished in my first week of using this ridiculous cable. I don't know how it works but I bought this cable and waited patiently at my door for it to arrive. As soon as I did I opened it up, placed one end in my mouth, and the other end in my.. well you know where... Anyway, next thing I know, I am viewing the world in 3D! Everything just pops out at me like it's really there! Don't ask me how it works... maybe its the silver coating, maybe it's voodoo. Either way, it's changed the way I see the world and I am a better person for it. I did however deduct a star for the 3.3' length. It's not long enough for an adult and forces you to do this kind of half squatting walk while the cable is plugged in. The product should say "Child Size". I probably wouldn't go with anything shorter than 6' for an adult male although a female with front mounted inputs may be able to get away with 5'.
